NSS

The NSS unit of the college is continuously engaged in organizing various activities throughout the year. The NSS volunteers have also shown a keen interest in participating in various programs organized by NSS unit. The following activities were undertaken during the academic year 2017-2018 in which the NSS volunteers had actively participated.

21st June, 2018 : The College celebrated “International Yoga Day”.
26st July, 2018 : The NSS unit celebrated “Kargil Vijay Divas” in college by conducting a lecture through presentation on the great sacrifice made by our freedom fighters.
26st July, 2018   NSS Volunteers visited Blind School located at Ghod-dod road and made students aware about the great sacrifice our brave soldiers have made in protecting our country.
4thAugust, 2018

 

: Tree Plantation campaign was organised – 350 saplings was planted in the college campus and nearby college area.
14thAugust, 2018   Blood Donation Camp was organized in which 96 units of blood were collected.
6thAugust, 2018 : Lecture on “Importance of Breast Feeding” was organised for First Year B.com female students to bring awareness among them about the importance of breast feeding.
13th August, 2018 : NSS Unit and Cultural Committee of the college have jointly organised “Patriotic Song Competition”.

15th August, 2018 : Celebration of Independence Day.
16th August, 2018 : NSS Volunteers visited old age home and spent time with the elderly people and also donated food.
07th October, 2018   Our college has organized a camp “Mukhymantri Amrutam Maa & Maa Vatsalya Yogna” for the welfare of the society in which MLA Shri Harsh Sanghvi was the Chief Guest. In total 284 families benefited from the camp.
11th January, 2019 : Organized “Message Writing Contest” on the theme of Swami Vivekananda as a celebration of his birth anniversary.
25th January, 2019 : Orientation Programme for NSS students organized in the college.

 

29th January and 04th February, 2019 : Thalassemia checkup Camp was organised in the college library for all the divisions of F.Y.B.com and M.com – Part I in which 540 students blood sample was tested.
09th February , 2019 : “Ek Muthhi Mulyavan” – Helping to relieve hunger – All the students voluntarily donated 85 kgs of grains including rice, wheat and dal to Surat Manav Seva Sangh (Chhaydo).
24th February, 2019   Our college organized “Voter ID campaign” which benefited 164 students.
