It is the <strong data-start=\"103\" data-end=\"183\">official ranking framework of the Ministry of Education, Government of India<\/strong>, launched in 2015 to rank higher-education institutions across India.<\/h3>\n<p>NIRF tells you how an Indian college\/university performs compared with other participating institutions nationally.<\/p>\n<p>NIRF ranking depends on institutions <strong data-start=\"2703\" data-end=\"2788\">participating\/submitting data and being included in the relevant ranking exercise<\/strong>.
